HOUSE REPUBLICANS ANNOUNCE 2024 COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

(Colorado State Capitol, January 3, 2024) -- Today, Minority Leader Mike Lynch (R-Wellington) announced the Republican appointments to House committees of reference for the 2nd Regular Session of the 74th General Assembly.

"Our caucus is lucky to have a diverse group of members whose backgrounds provide valuable insights to our House committees," said Lynch. "Our appointments ensure our constituents' voices are best represented on these committees and that the priorities of our caucus are met," added Lynch.

The newly created Health & Human Services Committee which will take the place of the Public & Behavioral Health & Human Services Committee and the Health Insurance Committee will consist of Republican Representatives Mary Bradfield (R-Colorado Springs), Brandi Bradley (R-Roxborough), Richard Holtorf (R-Akron), and Ron Weinberg (R-Loveland).

Additional changes include Rep. Matt Soper (R-Delta) to the Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources Committee; Rep. Stephanie Luck (R-Penrose) to the Appropriations Committee; Rep. Scott Bottoms (R-Colorado Springs) to the Energy & Environment Committee; and Rep. Bradley will also join the Transportation, Housing & Local Government Committee.
